Project Management and Teambuilding

Every now and again organisations and groups benefit from the involvement of a trusted third party. Someone who is independent, and can offer, not so much an objective contribution, as one that is dispassionate, unencumbered by an organisation's or group's history.

This service can:

  • facilitate and lead team building days from staff to board level
  • assist with organisational issues, for example, communication, ordering of priorities
  • project manage
  • crisis manage
  • create and manage events.

We have asked Anne Louise Wirgman to provide the project management and teambuilding services.

Anne Louise makes things happen. And she has made them happen in a world that is not a million miles away from play: theatre and the arts. Here, as perhaps in play, it is not about controlling what to others may look like chaos, as creating the context within which it can thrive and sustain itself. Anne Louise combines an ability to make paperwork and systems behave, whilst at the same time being a sensitive and savvy team builder who has helped a variety of organisations.

“Effective organisations are flexible enough to balance the benefits of a shared order with scope for individual talent.”

Phil Turner for Common Knowledge

Anne Louise has and does work with the Almeida Theatre, Young Vic, Tamasha Theatre, Intrinsica Films, Portsmouth City Council, Red Pepper Magazine, BBC Radio 2 and Creative Partnerships - and ourselves, PLAYLINK. Work areas include: financing and organising national tours for theatre companies, raising capital and revenue funds, general project management, and teambuilding. One of her current commissions is running away days for a newly merged team of project managers and administrators.

Anne Louise has significant fundraising experience. She worked on Ocean Music Trust's successful £8.5m lottery bid, and the Almeida Theatre's successful £1.5m lottery bid. She was responsible for the Almeida's Arts Council England applications for the touring company.
